I've Been a Bad Blogger

You know those scenes in movies where there is a fight and someone ends up hanging on the edge of something with just their fingertips?

That has been me in the blogosphere lately.  I've kept up with my posts and visited 5-6 blogs a day, but really haven't been out supporting others and finding new people like I wanted.

I decided that was going to end this weekend.  I have been going around, finding new people who I really should have seen sooner, trying to comment on people I follow but just haven't visited in a long time.

And I remembered how much I love you people and realized how much I really did miss you.

So I'm back on schedule, ready to get back in contact with all you lovely people and hoping my posts can contribute something to help you in return.  If I haven't been to your blog in a while - SORRY.  Sincerely sorry.  I'm fixing that this week.  And if I just found you, I can't wait to get to know you better.

Forget New Year's resolutions.  This is one of my summer resolutions.

Have you hit the reset button on anything as we shift into summer?  Is your summer busier, slower or the same?

Love the photo, that's how I feel sometimes. But the summer is ahead of us and all its possibilities.

Getting out of the house. LOL. Which I didn't accomplish this weekend, but I will get out of the house during summer. And if I'm not as supportive with blogging it's because I'm trying to be a better wife and mother.

Good luck on your return to the norm.

you're not the only blogger who's called herself bad for not posting or visiting and commenting on other blogs. why do we do that to ourselves? why does that make us bad bloggers? hmmmmmm

The support system is great here! I've hit the reset button on writing and am working on my next book now.

We know you care just by posting this! Blogging isn't my life. My life outside of blogging is. Blogging is suppose to be enjoyable so don't bog yourself down by worrying about us. Let us worry about you!

Happy blogging!

You've been recuperating :) No worries :)

This will only be my second summer blogging. It seemed to me last summer that things in the blogosphere slowed down A LOT... I'm thinking about how I want to approach this coming summer...

I know I'll be taking June off so I can focus on finishing a rough draft. While it will be a challenge to stay away for awhile, I need to do it or this project will take me months longer than planned.
Nice to see you back!

I know what you mean about the guilt trip. It's funny, we can only do what we can and we all have busy normal lives!

I've been trying to get back to it since the A-Z - I went on holiday for two weeks and now I'm looking for a job. So yeah, I'm trying to hang in there but it's all a bit up in the air. I really should focus on the employment issue, I know! Hope you enjoy your summer!

Oh goodness, it is so difficult to keep up with everyone's blogs, find new blogging friends, and have inspiration to post. Whew. Good luck with it all, Tasha :) I was uber happy to see you on my blog today!

Thanks for visiting and following my blog! I've decided to do one new thing a month that I've never done before.

We all feel like that at times so don't worry.

Take care.

I hit reset on exercising last Friday.

Also, you've had a reason for being lax. Hope you're feeling better.

Now that I've kind of figured out this blogging thing after the AtoZ challenge, I've been overwhelmed by posting and trying to comment while reworking my book proposal. My fingers aren't even showing on the cliff. I'm already in the water splashing around waiting for the lifeguard to rescue me:)

In case you need a post idea, I nominated you for a stylish blogger award! I'd love to hear some cool random Tasha tidbits!

Don't feel bad. I think the summer slowness has hit us all.

Lately it seems like every time I try to hit the reset button, life gives me an error. ;)

that's an interesting question--i am not sure if summer is slower for me---i guess it is somewhat--since fall is really busy for me---don't worry about it--you will do what you are meant to do!

Since I'm an elementary school teacher, summer is a big PAUSE for me. Ahhhh!

I intend to spend a lot of my summer writing and reading and blogging. But I also know that I get more done the more I have to do. I move slowly over the summer.

But the plus is, my writing doesn't have to compete with teaching for space in my head.

It's easy to do. Life has this trick of getting in the way of blogging activities. But, I'm glad you found me!

I'd say don't get stressed by your level of blogging, whatever it is. Being quiet for a time is fine. Whatever you need.

I took May off, and though it was great, now I'm having a hard time getting back in the swing of things too. No worries. It'll all come back :)

Oh man, I'm on the cliff with ya babe. I used to be SO good at making 'the rounds' every other day or so. Now I'm lucky if I make it twice a week!

I'll figure it out again though. Time to do the 'summer shift' :)

Hi Tasha! Yep, I've hit the reset button. I'm planning on a busier summer, as far as my writing. Everything else, we'll have to wait and see.
