A to Z - I'm a Survivor

This is the day to reflect on the A to Z challenge.  This was my first year participating and I was super excited and a little nervous because I normally only post three days a week and this was going to require twice my normal commitment for four weeks.  Could I do it?

I'm happy to report I did post every single day.  And I had so much stinking fun with it! I found that it pushed me beyond what I thought I could do and that I really had something to say every day.

I also realized why I post three days a week the other 48 weeks of the year.  It was exhausting and mentally draining, even scheduling the posts ahead of time.

I have one regret and that is that I didn't get to nearly as many blogs as I wanted (hoping the linky stays up?  I would really like to get to everyone over the next little bit).  My life just got busy and then more so and then the month was over and I really wanted to visit everyone.  Part of my plan for next year (yes, I'm planning on next year already...have we not discussed what a planner I am???), is that, since I'm in charge of big things at work, I am going to make sure they are in March so that I can have this go better.

In short, if you didn't participate this year, I really recommend you do.  The people that I did get to meet were completely amazing.

Did you do A to Z?  What are you going to do now to keep pushing your limits for improvement?

Congrats on finishing! It really is exhausting, but very worthwhile!

I didn't do the challenge and I'm not going to next year. It's just too much of a time commitment for me.

As much as I tried to avoid it, I did read a number of the posts, and you were one of the more original of the group. I always enjoyed yours. :)

That's why I only post three days a week!
I didn't get to many new blogs either. Felt I owed it to my regular blogger buddies to visit them first. After about a hundred and fifty blogs, I just couldn't do anymore.
The very first Challenge changed my blog forever, so I will always champion it.

I have done all three challenges but this year was the first I planned ahead. I gave me a chance to read more but not foresaking my regulars.

I didn't sign up bc I knew I was stretched already, but it seemed like so much fun...I will try my best next year.

It was way fun! But ya, exhausting, lol. I was okay posting that much, it was all the reading I did that kept me busy.

But now that I know what to expect, yup... I'm doing this every year :)

It was fun, but I didn't get to as many new blogs as I was hoping. I plan to get around to them all though. And I'll definitely be doing the challenge again next year.

Thank you for stopping by my blog. Hope you have an awesome Monday :)

I'm so impressed with everyone who did this. It made me tired just thinking about it :)

Next year I'll be trying to keep my posts relatively shorter, though my standards of what constitutes a short post would still be considered long by some people. I did discover a fair amount of new blogs during the challenge, including some I'm going to visit regularly.

I tried to go in groups of 20 a day plus the people who visited me. It isn't easy and I didn't finish the list but we gave it our all!
Congrats on the finish and thank you for the support.

Yeah, I did the A to Z and for the most part, I enjoyed it. There were just a few things that irritated me every now and then. That's what I posted about in my reflections post today. And I agree with you, posting everyday is hard. I usually only post once a week so posting 6 days was rough, but I wrote everything early and pre-scheduled my posts. That helped me focus on reading and commenting on new blogs, not that that paid off as well as I expected. *sigh*

Yep, I hear the links will stay up for the rest of the year. I'm counting on that!

I'm glad you enjoyed your first A-Z :) I'm looking forward to next year as well, even if I know I will be exhausted yet again by April's end. hehe

First time Challenger for me, to. I think that it was a fun challenge.

I hadn't seen how the challenge was done, but now that I have, I think I'll prep far in advance if I participate next year. Congrats on completing it!

I didn't do A-Z becasue I'm focusing this year on getting things finished writing wise. We'll see how it goes :)

Congrats on finishing A-Z! It was a lot of work!

I did do A-Z, but I don't think I'll do it again. I knew I had to try it, or I'd feel like I was missing out! I hope they leave up the linky, too. I didn't get around to nearly enough people!

Congrats on finishing.

Next year, I'm going to come up with a short and to the point theme. With trying to visit everyone's blogs, some of those longer posts had me sighing a bit because it was going to take a while to read and I had 60 or so blogs still to get to.

You deserve a huge gold star! I was going super loco last month so it never even crossed my mind to join the challenge. Loco, loco, loco!
I'm so happy I got to see you a lot at Storymakers! I loved chatting with you!

Not only did you post every day, but you did AWESOME posts! Seriously - you were rocking it! I loved it. This was my first year too, and it was surprisingly, more fun than I thought it would be. I can't wait for next year!

Congrats on finishing and on all the great posts. A lot of work, sure, but definitely worth it.

This was also my first year and I greatly enjoyed it. Will definitely participate again next year! I also found the hardest part was visiting the names on the endless list, it was surely impossible to visit every one of them! I would love to know if anyone actually did?

Congratulation on finishing the challenge. During the challenge I didn't visit as many blogs as I would like to but, cross my heart, I'm visiting every single one with the reflection post! I am so glad my journey brought me here. What I will do now? Keep writing!

Evalina, This and that...
